SEARCHING THE LIBRARY CATALOG

Please be informed that the public catalog is currently offline. In the meantime, you can still perform catalog searches via our search engine DiZ. You can limit your results in DiZ by selecting the 'Catalog Only' option.

In November, Zuyd Library will transition to a new library system.To ensure a smooth migration to this new system, the current system will be unavailable from Tuesday, November 4 through Friday, November 14.

What will not be possible during this period?

  • Reserving or renewing items from the physical collection (including books and journals).
  • Using the self-service checkout stations.

What will be possible during this period?

  • Borrowing and returning items from the physical collection at the service desk (using your library card/student ID).
  • Using the physical collection within the library.
  • Accessing the digital collection (online books, journals, databases, and the DiZ search engine).

The new library system will go live on Friday, November 14

How to use the Zuyd Library search engine: DiZ

DiZ, an acronym for “Discover information sources Zuyd" is Zuyd Library's very own search engine with which you can perform an integrated search through the library catalogue and electronic sources.

Direct access to databases via your browser

Library Access is a browser extension that you can add to your favorite browser. This Library Access browser extension makes it simple to access academic articles, journals and databases licensed by Zuyd Library, wherever you are and whenever you need it.

Getting to know Zuyd Library

Follow the short module "Getting  to know Zuyd Library" for an introduction to the possibilities of the (digital) library. Following the module takes about 20 minutes.
