Introduction: Processing information

All information you have found in other publications can be (re)used for your research. Not only information from books and journal articles, but also information retrieved from websites.
There is, however, a very important and vital condition: You must always cite the source to make transparent where you found the information!

In this LibGuide you learn how to (re)use (scientific) information correctly.

You will learn to pay attention to copyright laws and how to prevent plagiarism. You will also learn how and when to quote and paraphrase from other sources. In addition, you will discover how you can collect and use literature references.
