Applied Science (English): Graduation & Research Publications

Zuyd Library has a separate repository for undergraduate products: the so called Zuyd Student Reports Repository. For example, search on the term ‘applied science’ and you will get an overview of available theses by alumni of the Applied Science program.

Graduation papers by Zuyd students can be published in both the Zuyd Student Reports Repository and the HBO kennisbank. The study program decides whether a graduation paper is published, but the copyright remains with the student. The student can always ask Zuyd Library to remove the graduation paper. If your thesis paper contains confidential information from a company, first ensure that there are no objections to publication. However, before these graduation papers are published, they must meet a number of conditions:

• they must have been assessed with a seven or higher,
• there must be approval from the organization and
• the student must give written consent using the consent form.

If a thesis is written by more students, all authors must give permission for publication.

Within universities of applied sciences, many publications such as articles, research reports and graduation papers are produced by professors, lecturer-researchers and students.

HBO Kennisbank provides access to research publications and graduation products of participating universities of applied sciences and makes them available for reuse. In this way, HBO Kennisbank facilitates exchange between research, education, business and professional life and society.
